Fallen Forest

Woodhorn Museum 2018 - 2019

Exhibited at Woodhorn Museum, Fallen Forest was inspired by the Carboniferous forests that created the coal beneath this previous colliery site.

With archival and field research into fossils and modern jungles this large paper tree-scape could be interacted and added to by the audience, with creative workshops within the ‘forest’.
