About
I am a Visual Artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, who creates site-specific, ephemeral installations that physically engage the audience. My practice is underpinned by drawing, sewing, paper cuts and structure-making.
Story-collecting and facilitation is key to my practice, helping to inform new work. Narratives are gathered from local communities through conversation and collaborative making; using light, paper-cutting and sculpture I transform these stories into tactile artworks.
Having spent four years working in Asia, Australia and Europe I recently returned to the north of England where I am involved with running 36 Lime Street Studios and work as a freelance Artist at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art.
